ONE FORM. TWO COLOURS – Constraint as an artistic method.

Paper, glue, paste (wooden frame and plexiglass) -60 x 90 cm | 2020

The starting point for this work is a circle with a diameter of 35cm, i.e. the shape. The circumference of the circle forms the basis for the other shapes. The colour is natural, the basic material is unbleached thin paper. Paper strips are processed into sheets with paste and glue, from which the shapes are cut. The overlapping of the paper strips on the one hand and the overlapping of the shapes on the other hand, create a variety of colour gradations and shapes, whose exact outlines are no longer tangible, thus forming another shape.
